This is a big myth that has plagued women in their efforts to lose weight! The truth is that while cardio can definitely help you lose weight and get into great shape, it is only one piece of the puzzle.

Now what I am about to say may come as a shock to many, but pay close attention because it is the truth!

Believe it or not, while cardiovascular exercise is a good tool to burn some extra calories and get in great cardiovascular shape, it does nothing to increase your body’s metabolism permanently or to help you tone your physique! If you want to create a state of metabolic momentum, weight training needs to be your main exercise along with some aerobics used as a supplementary exercise that enhances your cardiovascular system, your recovery from your weight training workouts and also increases your caloric expenditure.

It has been scientifically proven that subjects who embark on programs of this nature lose much more weight than those who just embark in an aerobics only program.

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH?

As much as three times more body fat is actually lost during a program that combines weight training with aerobics! And on top of that lean muscle, which serves to give your body shape and also to increase your metabolism, is gained at the same time!!!!

People who only diet and do aerobics end up as a skinnier fat version of themselves. Because no weight training was done, muscle is lost and as a result the metabolism slows down. Thus, when people who fall in this category increase their calories a bit, they start to regain the weight. And as a result, their body never looks hard and fit.

However, consider the people that do embark on a program composed of weight training with some aerobics at the end. Performing the aerobics after the weight training will dramatically increase fat loss since the weight training will burn off most of the glycogen (stored carbohydrates) and thus, the only fuel source available to the body will be fat. In addition, as the weight gets lost, muscle is gained, which in turn not only increases the metabolism permanently, but also tones up the body. As you gain more muscle, your body shape gets better and fat loss becomes even easier since your metabolism is getting faster. When you reach your weight loss goal, maintaining the shape is easy since the metabolism will be operating in high efficiency! So as you can see, muscles are your best fat fighting allies and they are the key to permanent weight loss (Fat Extinction!). In addition, you will sport the hard looking and lean physique you have always been dreaming off.

The Five Ws (and one H) of Weight Loss
www.huffingtonpost.com

In Journalism 101, we learned the importance of the Five Ws (and one H) in gathering information. Answering the Ws (and H)–who, what, where, when, why (and how)–is considered essential in understanding the full story. What would happen if you applied them to your weight loss goals? Some Ws (and an H) to consider:

1. Who is it that wants to lose weight? Who is the “you” that’s dieting? Another way to ask this is, who are you, inside your body? The bottom line is, your body is a place for your soul to live. That’s it. Should it be comfortable, healthy, happy? Absolutely. But losing 10 pounds is not the call of your soul. It’s the call of your ego.

I once knew a woman who could light up a room just by walking through the door. Her eyes literally sparkled. When I spoke to her, her attention was so fully and completely on me, that it was as if no one had ever spoken before. I knew she would remember every word I said–and she did. She was so vibrant, deep, warm, compassionate, that it was a very long time before I noticed she was what some people might call “heavy.” Actually, I don’t think she ever noticed she was what some people would call heavy.

Likewise, I knew a woman who was wildly self-assured, sexy, vibrant, alive. She was in her mid 40s, tall, big boned; she weighed close to 185 pounds, and she literally turned heads walking down the street. Her secret: Inside, she loved herself, she was healthy and she felt good. That was enough for her. She knew who she really was, and that her body was comfortable, well-nourished–even if it wasn’t petite.

2. What would happen if you never lost weight? We set so many conditions on our love for ourselves. Unconsciously (or not) one of those conditions may be our weight. “I’ll feel better about myself when I’ve lost 20 pounds,” or “If I can just get rid of this last 5 pounds, I’ll be able to get on with my life.” As far as you know, this is the only life you have, and it’s happening right now. What would happen if you lived it right now, as you are, weighing what you do and wearing the size you wear? Can you love yourself anyway? Pause here, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and ask yourself that question. See what comes up. If the answer is “no,” it may be that learning how to love yourself is a bigger priority than losing 20 pounds.

3. Where do you want to be in ten years? Answer that question, and you’ll have a better sense of your reason for being here. Write down where you’ll be in terms of physical health, family, relationship, spiritual practices, career, home, travel–whatever comes up for you. Chances are really good that “I’ll be X pounds lighter” will come up on your list. That’s okay. Just recognize all the other things that are on your “where I’ll be” list.

How much time, mental energy and passion are you devoting to those aspects of your life, compared to counting calories and obeying the bathroom scale? Maybe you can see where weight loss falls on your list of dreams, goals and visions, and maybe you can assign it a different priority. Losing weight is not your life’s work. Your life’s work is to love, to serve, to be honest, to develop personal integrity, to be kind, to raise healthy children, to grow spiritually, to adore yourself. Which is not to say you can’t choose to shed some excess baggage. You’ll just do it with a sense of perspective.

4. When will it be okay? I once worked with a man who slaved tirelessly to lose 15 pounds. He exercised obsessively, starved himself, became a fanatic about supplements, drank diet soft drinks and coffee throughout the day to blunt his appetite, even took up smoking to blunt his appetite. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? But here’s what’s really crazy: once he lost 15 pounds, he wanted to lose another 5. (I should pause here to tell you that the term “crazy” was his, not mine). He felt that being 5 pounds under his goal gave him a buffer, in case he gained a few pounds back.

I realized then that, no matter how much weight he lost, he wasn’t going to be satisfied. It would never be okay, because it wasn’t about his weight, or his body. It was about his sense of self; he was depressed and dissatisfied with his life, and no amount of weight loss was ever going to make that okay.

When will it be okay for you? Ask yourself that question, then listen softly and quietly for the answer. It might surprise you.

5. Why do you want to lose weight? Ask yourself with gut-level honesty: why do you want to lose weight? Is it because the doctor told you your weight was harming your health, or because that little red two-piece swimsuit went on sale at Neiman Marcus? Is it for your wife, your health, your ego, your high school reunion, your best friend’s wedding? Is it because you’ve decided the ten extra pounds around your middle no longer serves you, or because you still want to fit into the size 4 jeans you wore in your senior year of high school? Once you’re honest with yourself, you can decide just how important it is to you to lose weight and where it fits in the grand scheme of your life.

6. How will shedding pounds serve the world? We’ve already touched on how it will serve you. Now, take it to a deeper level: how will losing weight make a difference in the world around you? Perhaps being lighter and slimmer will boost your health, and make you feel more confident, inspired, energetic and passionate; in turn, that will positively affect your children, your mate, your co-workers. There’s no right answer here; it’s just about being aware and exploring possibilities, and perhaps understanding how your own personal goals fit into the grand scheme of life.

Forget those pledges to drop twenty pounds before Memorial Day—it turns out that the reason most of us exercise isn’t actually the best motivator after all. Actually, according to researchers, having a weight loss goal alone can slash your odds of success by over half. Instead, researchers emphasize that we focus on the other amazing health rewards we get from just being active. In fact, finding the right motivation can make you 70% more likely to keep it up for the long haul. So next time you’re feeling sluggish and downtrodden because you haven’t dropped the ten pounds you’d hoped to by Memorial Day, focus on these positive factors:

1. Be happier at work—an active lifestyle can help you be more accomplished. A study conducted by the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom discovered that when employees participated in an on-site fitness program, they reported thinking more clearly, getting more done, and interacting more effectively with coworkers.

2. Improve your vocabulary—a single treadmill session can make your brainer. Getting your heart pumping increases blood flow, delivering more oxygen to your brain. It also helps to increase growth in areas of the brain responsible for multitasking, planning, and memory.

3. Get natural pain relief—rest isn’t actually the best way to relieve pain and stiffness in the body. Instead, since exercise releases endorphins, the body’s natural pain reliever, exercising can help you feel better and also keep you less vulnerable to future aches and pains.

4. Feel good about yourself—a good workout will boost your self-image, no matter what size you are.

5. Lower dental health bills—flossing and brushing aren’t the only ways to prevent gum disease. In fact, according to a recent study conducted at Case Western University, exercise thwarts periodontitis by lowering levels of inflammation-causing C-reactive proteins in the blood.

6. Unlock hidden energy—regular exercise boosts certain fatigue-fighting chemicals in the brain, such as norepinephrine and dopamine.

7. Shrink stress fat—we’ve probably all heard about belly fat and how it’s caused by the stress-related hormone, cortisol. We’ve also probably heard that belly fat is the most dangerous type of fat on the body. The good news is that just two 40-minute workouts a week are enough to stop belly bulge.

8. Slash cold risk—moderate exercise revs both the metabolism and the immune system. A University of Washington study discovered that women, ages 50 to 75, who did 45 minutes of cardio 5 days a week had 33% fewer colds than women who only did one stretching session a week.

9. Improve vision—it turns out that exercise is better for your eyes than carrots. An active lifestyle can cut your risk of macular degeneration by 70%, according to a British Journal of Ophthamology study of 4,000 adults.

10. Reach the deep-sleep zone—a recent study, published in the Journal of Sleep Medicine, discovered that women age 60 or older who walked or danced for at least an hour four times a week, woke up half as often and slept an average of 48 minutes longer than sedentary women.

11. Never get Diabetes—walking 2 miles 5 times a week may be more effective at preventing diabetes than running nearly twice as much. Fat is the primary fuel for moderate exercise, which explains why walking helps to improve the body’s ability to release insulin and control blood sugar.

12. Eliminate belly bloat—the next time you’re suffering from muffin-top, resist the urge to plop yourself down on the couch. Exercising increases the heart rate and breathing, which stimulates the natural contraction of the intestinal muscles.

13. Clear out brain fog—exercise is linked to a lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease among older people. Now more recent research suggests that this is also true for younger people, too. In fact, Japanese researchers discovered that a group of young adults who participated in one aerobic exercise class per week had not shrinkage of gray matter in the brain after just 4 months, while the comparison sedentary group did.

14. Save your heart—exercise lowers levels of the inflammatory C-reactive proteins that are linked to heart disease.

15. Add years to your life—being physically fit can change how your body works.

16. Ease your ailments—exercise, such as yoga, can help reduce stress. Similarly, yoga has also been found to decrease compulsive eating urges.

17. Survive breast cancer—exercise reduces breast cancer risk and can also save your life after you’re diagnosed. Overweight women who were exercising more than 3 hours per week before they were diagnosed were 47% less likely to die than those who exercised less than a half an hour a week.

Hopefully these other health benefits of exercise will motivate you to get off your couch this summer and enjoy the weather, or your gym.

Success on a Healthy Weight-Loss Plan Means Managing the ‘Weekend Effect’
www.cleveland.com

Question: Why is it that when I go on a healthy weight-loss plan, I lose barely a pound a week, but after the weekend I’ve gained back more than a pound! It feels like I can’t go out and have a glass of wine and dessert occasionally because it will take me a month to undo the damage.

Answer: You’re a victim of the “weekend effect”: extra pounds that suddenly appear on Monday morning and take weeks to lose. But it’s not the glass of wine or occasional dessert that’s creating those love handles you hate. If you’re like most North Americans, on weekends you’re taking in way more calories than you realize. A 2008 study at Washington University School of Medicine found that dieters consistently gained weight on the weekends while losing weight during the week because they ate more on weekends.

When you’re kicking back, a few more chips and another margarita or a second slice of pizza with the works seems OK since you were “good all week.” You probably also eat out more on weekends, and at many restaurants, “single” portions are big enough to feed a family of three (seriously), yet find their way into your body of one.

So here’s our action plan for all weekends, not just one:

Don’t drop your guard on Friday night and pick it up again Monday morning.

Walk more.

Try to lose a little on most weekends.

Keep a food diary: Writing down what you eat, especially on weekends, will help you have that glass of wine with no regrets.

Health tip of the week: Indoor plants are good medicine

When you get your garden ready for spring, don’t leave all the greenery outdoors. Placing some plants inside your home primes you for good health — especially since indoor air can be more polluted than the outside air.

Here’s what indoor greenery can do for you:

Keeps your lungs healthy: Harmful compounds called VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are everywhere — in carpet, paint, foam insulation, household cleaners, air fresheners, even cosmetics. Exposure to these toxins causes fatigue, headaches, asthma and allergies in certain people. But just one plant per 100 square feet of living space will help absorb these VOCs. Philodendrons, spider plants and ivy have special talents for that.

Keeps blood pressure under control: An environment of plants soothes you, helping to keep blood pressure under control.

Gets you healthy faster: People in hospitals who rest by a window with a natural view use less pain medication and have quicker recoveries than do patients who stare at blank walls. Nursing-home residents who are surrounded by greenery get fewer infections than peers in less-green environments.

If you prefer to purchase plants, great. But there’s added value to growing them yourself: You may get more time to enjoy them. Gardening probably has added years to the longest-lived people in the world. Okinawans — whose men typically live to age 78, women to age 86 — have a long tradition of working with the soil.

I never set out to write a book about how to lose weight. However, while researching The Hundred Year Diet. America’s Voracious Appetite For Losing Weight, I learned a great deal about what works, what doesn’t and why, which is what today’s blog is all about.

To begin: Current evidence suggests that the vast majority of us weigh too much as a result of an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise. That bit of prescriptive information was published for the first time in 1727 London, when it was based entirely on observation. It was restated many times in America when calorie counting became the thing to do around the turn of the last century, and “eat less and exercise more” is the prescription most credentialed nutritionists would give today. It appears to be immutable.

Except, it’s not always that simple. A small segment of the population may have significant genetic or metabolic reasons for being overweight or obese. Although they still have to consume more calories to gain weight and less to lose it, they may utilize energy more efficiently, making weight loss more challenging. In other words, two people in good health of the same age, height, sex, bone structure and activity level may theoretically consume the identical amount of calories for a lifetime and yet not weigh the same.

Because we keep getting heavier and there’s a lot of money to be made from a “cure,” obesity research has become a significantly funded in pharmaceutical companies large and small, generating a lot of data and interesting theories, but no concrete solutions. Finding a pill that will control appetite is complex beyond any current scientific level of understanding. The key is successfully creating a drug that will regulate the specific brain hormones that cause us to lust after the foods we crave. To work well, it has to suppress appetite without tinkering with all of the pleasurable things in life like, for example, the pursuit of happiness. Not to mention the most basic human emotions of fulfillment, satisfaction, sexual desire and love. This is a level of sophistication about brain chemistry not yet available. There are two prescription obesity drugs currently on the market, but they are not very effective – few additional pounds are lost, there are risks, and you still have to eat better and exercise. The many over-the-counter remedies are not FDA approved and are thus far riskier, and have caused very serious complications and even death. If any safe magic pill were on the market, the country would be filled with thin people.

The same could be said for many fad diets – almost every one of them is just a starvation diet with a cool name, and starving yourself is as bad an idea as taking some pill that speeds up metabolism. During the Second World War, (and prior to the Helsinki Declaration) Ancel Keyes studied the effects of semi-starvation on healthy male conscientious objector volunteers in an attempt to understand the physiological and psychological implications of being undernourished, and the best way to rehabilitate famine victims after the war.

The men were allowed 1,600 calories a day, or about half of what they required to maintain their very active lifestyle. They lost weight, but they also suffered from depression, and manifested neurotic and psychotic behavior. After a period of controlled re-feeding, they were allowed to eat whatever they desired and ended up an average of five percent heavier than when they began.

Starvation diets are dangerous and ineffective, and even some of Keyes’ extremely dedicated and closely watched volunteers cheated. Most fad diets allow fewer calories than The Minnesota Experiment.

In addition, immediately abandon any diet that recommends consuming a lot of vitamins. Clearly, that is just another way of saying that you are not feeding yourself well.

Food for thought: Sixty-six percent of Americans eat fast food one to five times a week and 66 percent of Americans are overweight or obese. Coincidence? Perhaps. But eating out, especially at most chain restaurants, usually means consuming a huge amount of calories. Some – say Panera Bread and Chipoltle – have better options, but cooking even a few meals a week at home can make a big difference. And taking control of what you eat can be a wonderful feeling.

By all means have a glass of wine with that home cooked meal, but try to keep the alcohol to 12.5 percent or less, because the more alcohol the more calories. The percentage is usually listed on the label on the back of the bottle, but occasionally you’ll find it on the front. It may be in small print, but it’s there.

Warm weather. Longer days. Quiet nights. Pool time!

Dr. Jane Katz, 67, is the author of Your Water Workout! (Broadway, $17.95) and a 1964 U.S. Olympic swim team member.

She’s now a physical education professor at the University of New York, teaching fire and police officers to swim, and working with senior centres to promote water exercise.

She has simple advice for the overweight, sedentary, stiff-in-the-joints, anti-exercise, keep-my-hair-dry crowd: Get yourself into a pool, watch your blood pressure come down, feel your joints relax and enjoy life again.

Katz was one of the first fitness experts to promote water therapy, pioneering it after a 1975 automobile accident left her with broken bones. Here is an edited excerpt of a recent interview with her.

Q: You have three new DVDs on aquatic workout?

A: Yes, available on my website, drjanekatz.com.

The message stays the same — work out in the water and when you exercise, your limbs relax and loosen, you lose weight more quickly, you can exercise longer.

Here’s the key: You can watch the video, note the exercises you like, and do them on your own. Anything you do will help.

Q: What’s the big deal about water exercise as opposed to land therapies?

A: In the water, you are 75 per cent gravity-free. You feel refreshed. You don’t overheat.

Any lower-leg injury is benefitted by water therapy. Hip or knee replacement. And also bursitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia. Just walking in shallow water lets you move more freely.

Q: Why do seniors often resist water therapy?

A: I think for lots of reasons. They think they’ll get their hair wet, for example. I tell them they will not have their heads in the water. This is all about buoyancy.

Then there’s the business about body image in a bathing suit. Well, find a neighbourhood pool or program and just go. No one’s really noticing you, trust me.

Q: Water isn’t the only exercise people should do, is it?

A: Oh, no! A combination of water, Pilates, yoga and tai chi is ideal. Turf to surf.

Q: You’ve said water is a comforting exercise medium for seniors?

A: I always think the water is democratic. A great equalizer.

The Dukan diet, devised by French doctor Dr Pierre Dukan, has been popular in France for the last decade. Released in Britain in May 2010, this diet claims that dutiful followers will experience rapid weight loss and keep it off for good, while still being able to eat the foods they love. But there is a catch. Dieters can eat nothing but protein foods on Thursdays.

The Four Phases of the Dukan Diet

The diet is divided into four phases: attack, cruise, consolidation and stabilisation. The attack and cruise phases focus on losing weight quickly, while the consolidation and stabilisation phases are concerned with maintaining weight and avoiding putting any weight lost back on.

Calorie counting is not a feature of the Dukan diet; it is the type of food eaten that is important. The rules concerning which foods can be eaten are very strict in the early phases of the diet, with high protein consumption being the main focus. However, the rules become more relaxed as the diet progresses.

Losing Weight Quickly with the Dukan Diet

In the first two phases of the Dukan diet, substantial weight loss is expected.

Phase 1: Attack Phase – Protein-only foods are allowed. That is, meat, fish, eggs and non-fat dairy products. There is no butter or oil, all fat must be trimmed from meat, and all skin removed from poultry. Several pounds may be lost quickly during the attack phase. Dieters can choose to stay in this phase for between one and ten days, depending on how much weight they want to lose.

Phase 2: Cruise Phase – Protein-only days are alternated with protein and vegetable days. A wide variety of vegetables are allowed in unlimited amounts, such as asparagus, aubergine, broccoli, cabbage, kale, Brussels sprouts, leeks, mushrooms, peppers, salad leaves, spinach and tomatoes, but not starchy vegetables such as potatoes and lentils. Dieters should continue to lose around 2lb each week while in this phase, and must stay in it until their desired weight is achieved.

Keeping the Weight Off by Eating Only Protein on Thursdays

In the third and fourth phases of the Dukan diet, more foods are allowed but weight is expected to stay the same.

Phase 3: Consolidation Phase – Foods such as bread, pasta, cheese and fruit are reintroduced, and both vegetables and protein can be eaten every day. No more weight is lost in the consolidation phase; the aim is to prevent dieters regaining the weight they lost in the previous phases and to maintain their current weight. For every 1lb of weight lost, five days should be spent in this phase to permanently keep those pounds off.

Phase 4: Stabilisation Phase – No foods are off limits. However, for one day each week, every week from now on, only protein can be eaten. Dr Dukan recommends this day be a Thursday. The idea is that protein-only Thursdays balance out the lack of food restriction on the other days of the week, while allowing the weight loss achieved in the previous phases of the diet to be maintained.

Throughout the entire diet, a tablespoon of oat bran is allowed each day. (This is a form of soluble fibre which is good for easing constipation associated with high-protein diets.) Dieters are also encouraged to drink plenty of water and go for a brisk walk every day.

So will the Dukan diet be the next big diet craze to hit British soil? Only time will tell.

Julie Hungerford is one of thousands of people who will undergo gastric bypass surgery this year to help her lose weight.

She says she’s struggled with weight problems, and wants the weight off. The mother of four says she wants to be active and enjoy her time with her kids. Hungerford, from Green Bay, was developing health problems because of her weight, which she says is around 240 pounds.

“I started seeing myself just head down this path that I saw my mother lead down prior to her passing just a few years ago,” said Hungerford. “I didn’t want to go down that same path.”

Research from the Mayo Clinic shows bariatric surgery may help with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes.

Dr. Ray Georgen is a surgeon at Midwest Bariatrics and is operating on Julie.

“We disconnect the very top of the stomach. So this part of the stomach is the size of a large egg versus the size of a football,” said Georgen. “When food gets into this new stomach, this neo-stomach so to speak, you feel full quick.”

However, a down side is the cost, around $25,000, which isn’t always covered by insurance. There are risks like blood clots, and that’s why months of preparation are key for long-term success.

Before the operation, prospective patients must pass psychological tests. They must also undergo training on what they can and cannot eat.

“The times that I did something that didn’t end up working out and made me sick, I learned from,” said Jenni Hottman of Grand Chute.

Hottman had gastric bypass last August. She says she has lost more than 100 pounds since then and says it was a challenge after surgery and may not be for everyone.

“There’s effective ways to use a tool and there’s ways that if you use it incorrectly, you will probably hurt yourself,” said Hottman.

Hottman says she sometimes got sick on fatty foods and can’t drink anything carbonated anymore. Dr. Georgen says the surgery only works if the patient sticks to the plan.

“It is a tool. It is not a cure,” he said. “Any surgeon who goes around saying this is a cure for morbid obesity is not portraying the right message. Five years from now you can’t decide, ‘Ah, I’m going to go back to eating all the things I shouldn’t be eating,’ because you could gain the weight back to some extent.”

Hungerford will have to learn how to deal with a new diet and regular exercise. She’s starting what she calls her new life.

Challenge to combat obesity is the task of the time. Disadvantages of obesity have been discussed a lot although the obese people are aware of them more than anybody else. But there are hardly any sure-shot suggestions which people can believe and accept and practice with confidence. On the other hand, it has also been observed that people are not committed to follow the prescriptions in most of the cases. But it is really not pleasing to find people of all ages getting obese. Hence the following suggestions are left with the expectation that people with obesity may be helped.
1. It is the physician who may be one of the best advisers and people having obesity problem should meet him and consult with him first. It is natural that the physician will check the incumbent’s blood pressure first and learn from him if he/she has become obese with growth of age or if this is a case of obesity from the early childhood. The physician will learn the food habit of the patient and other features of lifestyle. Then he will advise some common exercises and refer him/her to a dietician for further consultations.

2. The dietician will ask the patient to prepare a chart in which his/her age, height, weight, food habit and other daily activities will be described. The chart will be prepared in a way that there will be date-wise food in-take and weekly weight report. The dietician will ask the patient to re-order his/her food in-take and daily movements.

3. Fat-free diet and food with more vegetables and less mutton and least of butter and butter product will be suggested. The patient will not be troubled with the food he/she does not love to take. But there will be certain restrictions.

4. The physician and the dietician will surely advise for physical exercises without which obesity cannot be fought properly. Physical exercises may include daily walking, use of trade mill or frequenting to the nearby gym. Regularity is very important in exercises.

5. Meditation has been accepted as a form of medication and it is said that meditation provides good results. One should keep in mind that one must learn meditation or yoga from any expert teacher.
6. People who have gained fat realize that they will gain fat even they will leave with frugal meals. Tension breeds up from this consideration. But in shredding little bit of fat one must lead a tension-free life.

7. One must not go for the weight loss products available in the market without receiving approval of them from one’s personal physician as most of them do not work indeed.
8. It should also be kept in mind that in order to get rid of obesity one should never do such things as excessive fasting because it is important to have sufficient energy necessary for the body and this energy comes from food only.

At this point you’re probably thinking, “Ok, the cookies taste delicious, are nutritious, and suppress hunger, but will they make me lose weight and keep it off?!” Your concerns are understandable. To set your mind at ease a scientifically valid and reliable study with 10,000 overweight people was conducted.

No worries! The really neat thing about these cookies is that their chock-full of the nutrients that you need to stay healthy and fit for life! The formula incorporates every essential nutrient and vitamin that the average man and woman needs to maintain proper mental and physical health for decades! These cookies are infused with every bit of protein, calcium, iron, and vitamins the average person needs to subsist on a regular basis. Unlike your typical vitamin supplement pills the minerals and vitamins are processed normally by your body because they aren’t distributed in a capsule form. This allows your body to absorb all the nutrients it needs unlike with a pill where most of the nutrients are expelled as waste! Not to mention you don’t have to

How Does it Work!? Is there Any Proof that the Formula Works?!

Each month the respondents came into one of the clinics and went through a rigorous medical evaluation to evaluate their mental and physical health and well-being and to weigh-in. The study found that 100% of the men and 100% of the women lost weight after subsisting entirely on cookies for 6 months. The average weight loss for men was 42 pounds and 30 pounds for women! Moreover, all of the men’s and women’s vitals (blood pressure, heart beats, lung capacity, glucose levels, anxiety levels, hormonal levels etc) were perfectly normal for their age and gender groups. Thus, the researchers concluded that the cookies do lead to weight loss and maintenance as well as fully nourish the body with the vitamins and minerals it needs to function optimally!
