Privacy

You were probably expecting some tediously long , dull wall of legal text here, but frankly we checked one of those out and couldn’t understand half of it ourselves so we wrote the one below which is vastly easier to understand.

Healthandmuscle.com has a forum and newsletter which requires you to enter a verified opt in e-mail address.

(Opt-in) means we send you an email to the e-mail address you entered and ask you to confirm it’s you. This stops morons from entering your e-mail address randomly. If we don’t get a manual response back from you, then the system doesn’t add you.

Your contact details are not sold, shared or in anyway used other than for us to contact you. In other words, you enter your e-mail to sign up to the forum or in some other form on our site and ONLY we have it , you can take that to the bank. We have zero interest in bringing mayhem down our shoulders by doing anything nefarious with your email address.

We may contact you with the odd promotional article, or  notifications of a new reply to your topic on the forum and notification of a reply to a Blog post you commented on.

We may also occasionally contact you if there’s a really cool article on the site we think you might like to read, that’s about it.

You’ll also see that at the bottom of every e-mail we send you, there’s what’s called an “opt-out” link or “unsubscribe” link, you can click that and you’ll never hear from us again. We will cry and be sad for days, but we will pass our seperate ways and no hard feelings :D

We are anally retentive about keeping our members details private, we use Aweber the market leaders in e-mail security to maintain our lists. If your want to read about their security etc pop over to their site and take a look, they are the industry leaders in secure e-mail.

Also, at times we may display adverts on the site from Google Adwords, if you leave our site and go to some other site and give an advertiser your details, then it’s quite likely they may send you stuff. We have no idea what as we don’t control the specific adverts that Google can display on the site. We also recommend not giving random advertisers your e-mail address or at least give them a throw away one.

If you’re bored and wish to read Google’s blurb about this you can do so here:

http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html

That’s about it.

If you have any questions, just drop us a line using the contact form from the link at the top of the page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please don’t resend the same message because you didn’t get a response in 0.01 seconds, it just clogs up the system.

Yours In Health & Fitness
The Health & Muscle Team.
